Mt. Tahoma High School Lockdown Over

TACOMA, Wash. —

Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma was locked down around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

At about 2:30 p.m. the lockdown ended and students are being sent home in a "controlled release" said a representative from the Tacoma School District.

Leanna Albrect from Tacoma Schools said a student reported seeing another student flash a gun.

Police responded and are investigating the report at the school.

Albrect said she did not know if a gun was found or if any arrests have been made.
