Nalley Worker May Have Died From Electrocution

TACOMA, Wash. —

The death of a worker at Nalley Fine Foods in Tacoma is being investigated by the state Department of Labor and Industries.

A spokesman for the company said the man may have been electrocuted.

The victim, 52-year-old Dennis Marshall, was the head mechanic at the plant.

Marshall had been working alone on a piece of equipment when he was found unresponsive by a coworker a week ago. Medics were unable to revive him.

Marshall’s wife, Sandy, said she had been told her husband’s death was likely a case of electrocution.

The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office has not yet released an official cause of death.
