TACOMA, Wash. —
Pierce County prosecutors have filed more charges against two brothers accused of helping Maurice Clemmons after he killed four Lakewood police officers.
Prosecutor Mark Lindquist filed eight new charges against Douglas and Eddie Davis, who authorities said admitted that they held the guns the night before the shooting and that Clemmons told them he was going to shoot police.

According to documents, the Davis brothers also allegedly cleaned up blood left by Clemmons wound on some carpet and even put the stolen officer's weapon in a bag for Clemmons to take with him.
The new charges mean the Davis brothers could face up to 50 or 60 years in prison if they're convicted.
When you help a criminal, you become a criminal. And when you help a cop killer, we're going to level the most serious charges we can find, said Pierce County prosecutor Mark Lindquist.
Relatives of the murdered Lakewood police officers sat in the front row as friends of the suspects sat a few rows away.
Both men pleaded not guilty. Their bail was increased to $1.5 million.
