Nursing Home Employees Fired For Allegedly Taking Nude Photos Of Resident

BREMERTON, Wash. —

Three Bremerton nursing home workers have been fired for allegedly taking or viewing naked photos of at least one resident.

The three employees of the Kitsap Health and Rehabilitation Center are suspected of taking nude cell phone pictures of at least one resident with dementia and showing them to other employees as a joke.

They were fired last month after another employee reported the inappropriate photos.

Two of the employees told KIRO 7 that they are being wrongly accused.

One employee who is identified as R.B. said, "I feel like I was wrongly terminated. I saw one of the pictures, but I did not take the picture and I did not do anything wrong."

Bremerton police said all the cell phone photos were apparently deleted before they could get to the cell phones.

Police are still referring the case to prosecutors who could file voyeurism charges.
