TACOMA, Wash. —

Police have arrested one person in connection with the fatal shooting of a Tacoma woman.

Lisa Melancon was killed after a fight broke out and shots were fired outside her home Thursday night.

Police spokesman Mark Fulghum told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News that detectives made the arrest Saturday night at a Tacoma residence.

The suspect arrested was taken into custody without incident, Fulghum said.

The suspect was booked into Pierce County Jail for investigation of homicide.

Police said they think the suspect was involved in the fight prior to the shooting.

Fulghum said that police are continuing to search for two other people connected to the shooting.
