One Person Injured In Bellevue Shooting

BELLEVUE, Wash. —

Bellevue police are investigating a shooting on a sidewalk near the 4900 block of 119th Ave SE.

According to Bellevue police spokesperson Officer Carla Iafrate, the shooting occurred around 4 p.m. Sunday.

Police said the shooting erupted during a fight between two men. One of them pulled out a gun, shot the other in the neck, and ran off.

Police said the gunman didn't get far because several witnesses spotted his unique trousers.

"The really descriptive part was he had a pair of black pants on and one of the legs had a dragon design on it," said Iafrate.

The man was taken into custody by police a few blocks from the shooting scene.

The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center.
