Pedestrian struck while crossing lower Queen Anne street

SEATTLE —

A woman turning left onto Mercer Street from Queen Anne Avenue North hit a man crossing the street Tuesday afternoon, police said.

 

The man fell and hit his head, suffering injuries that police said were not life-threatening.

 

The walk signal was on for the pedestrian, police said.

 

Video from the scene showed police interviewing the driver.  Buses were temporarily routed around the intersection, Metro said.
