Robbers Tied Up Workers In Pharmacy Robbery

The owner and a pharmacist were the only workers left at the Medicine Man pharmacy on North 85th Street near Greenwood Avenue North at about closing time.

Three men pretended to be customers, asking questions. Then the robbers ordered the workers to a back room and tied them up, police said.

"The armed suspects took the two employees into a back room where they were tied up. They then proceeded to steal narcotics and cash from the business," said Seattle police spokeswoman Deanna Nolette.

Two of the three robbers were armed, police said.

Police have descriptions only for the two armed suspects. The first was a white male in his early 20s, wearing a brown baseball cap.

The second suspect wearing a stocking cap, with a mustache and goatee.

Police said they don't know if they left on foot or in a vehicle.

There have other recent armed robberies in North Seattle, but police said this one doesn't appear to be related.
