Plane Flips Over Near Harvey Field

SNOHOMISH, Wash. —

A small plane flipped over moments after taking off from Harvey Field in Snohomish County Tuesday morning, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.

Two people who were on board when the plane crashed walked away with minor injuries, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News North Sound Bureau Chief Anna Velasquez reported.

Witnesses said the plane sputtered after taking off and immediately turned to land. It touched down in a pond and flipped.

On board the plane was an instructor and student. The instructor was flying the plane, KIRO-TV reported.
