Plane Spills Fuel At Sea-Tac Airport

SEA-TAC, Wash. —

A plane has spilled fuel on the tarmac at Sea-Tac Airport, video from Chopper 7 confirmed.

A viewer who called KIRO 7 said he saw fuel spilling from an aircraft while he was waiting at a gate.

Sea-Tac spokesman Perry Cooper said 100 gallons of fuel spilled in the area of gates C3 through C15.

Cooper said three planes were moved back to allow crews to wash down the area.

A cleanup of the spill is in progress.
