Our blockbuster interview with a Port Townsend man, suspected of killing three people, is getting a lot of police attention today.

Homicide detectives and King County criminal prosecutors are now analyzing a videotaped interview with Glenn Allan Bagley.

Investigative Reporter Chris Halsne recently tracked down the suspected serial killer in the Philippines.

Glenn Bagley told Halsne he can't help find missing people he was closely associated with in the 1970's.

Police say he's a liar and a murderer and they are closer than ever to proving it.

Cold case detectives in Jefferson County have been grinding away for decades, trying to solve the disappearances of Port Townsend residents Althea Blankenship and her 4-year-old son Jeffery. Kent police have been doing the same for a mother of five, Esther Mae Gesler.

The evidence lockup contains love letters, a gun, audio recordings and reams of testimony - all of which, police say, point to a single suspected killer for all the missing people: Former Port Townsend engineer, Glenn Bagley.

Detective Wayne Himple of the Kent Police Department tells Halsne, “He knows where they are at. Where they are buried or dumped or whereever they are disposed of. I'm convinced he knows.”

KIRO Team 7 Investigators spent years following leads on the missing persons cases.

We followed Bagley's trail of travels around Southeast Asia, then found him in September living inside this gated compound in Manila, Philippines.

He agreed to speak with us about the disappearances of his former roommates, Althea Blankenship & Jeffery Blankenship, and his missing ex-wife, Esther Mae Gesler.

Halsne: You're adamant, you didn't have anything to do with their disappearance?

Bagley: No.

Halsne: You didn't have anything to do with their murder?

Bagley: No.

Halsne: You don't know where the bodies are?

Bagley: No. If there are any.

Bagley added, “The only connection that I can see is I know both people.”

Bagley admitted he was the last known person to see some of the missing people, but says he's never killed anyone.

“It might be something the police made up. I know when they do stuff, they can lie or do anything they want to trick people into saying stuff.”

Retired Seattle homicide detective, Bob Gebo, has questioned thousands of suspects and is an expert on non-verbal mannerisms.

KIRO Team 7 Investigators asked him to review our 30 minute tape of Bagley's responses when we returned from the Philippines.

Gebo didn’t pull any punches as to the truthfulness of Bagley’s statements to Team 7 Investigators.

“If I was sitting with Glenn, I would be really concerned about some of his eye movement, his body language - that he was being very deceptive. Particularly, when you talk about things that he gets uncomfortable with. He rolls his eyes, profuse sweating, the kind of the flippant way he deals with some of the subjects."

"I think he's lying a lot and then he lies so much that he has to lie some more to cover the initial lie. That's my impression of it.”

Gebo wasn't the only one interested in analyzing our interview when we returned from the Philippines.

Homicide detectives from several agencies, plus a representative of the King County Prosecutor's office, watched and took notes- during a closed door, off-the-record session.

Kent Detective Wayne Himple reacted afterwards.

“There is absolutely no doubt in my mind, he's still, he is the one that is involved in this. He has something to do with both disappearances.”

Prosecutors have not charged Bagley with any crime.

The Kent police department has asked the Department of Homeland Security to place a hold on his visa. Basically, if he re-enters the United States, TSA will keep him locked up until detectives arrive to question Bagley.
