Police Investigate BB Gun Shootings In Rainier Valley



SEATTLE —

A woman walking her dog Tuesday evening was shot at with a BB gun on 46th Street and Cloverdale Avenue in Seattle.

A few blocks away and just moments before, an unmarked police car spotted a dark SUV with at least two people inside shoot out the windows of a car on Martin Luther King Way and Henderson Street.

Seattle police told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News they believed the people in the SUV are also responsible for shooting at the woman.

The woman told police she was hit but not injured.

The woman was walking with two children ages 5 and 8.

Police are investigating the shooting.

Two weeks ago Seattle police were investigating a series of BB gun shooting in West Seattle, White Center and Burien.

There was no immediate word if Tuesday’s shooting was related to the series of previous attacks.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
