Police Investigate Series Of Robberies

SEATTLE —

Seattle police officers are investigating whether the same man is responsible for at least four robberies in North Seattle.

An employee of the Dollar Tree Store told KIRO 7 she was robbed by a masked armed robber on January 3. She said the crime was similar to a robbery just a few blocks away at the Gourmet Latte Espresso stand on January 25.

Police are also looking into whether the same man robbed a 5th Avenue clothing store and a sandwich shop on North Aurora. Victims who watched the surveillance video from the espresso stand robbery are convinced the same man threatened them.

All four robberies occurred within several blocks of each other, and all took place around the stores' closing times.

Authorities are having a hard time identifying the man because he was masked.
