FEDERAL WAY, Wash. —
Police are looking for a man accused of groping a 12-year-old girl at a Federal Way Walmart who then walked out as her parents and store employees followed.
The incident happened at the Walmart Supercenter at 34520 16th Avenue South around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
According to police, the man entered the store by himself and appeared to target a girl walking with her mother.
Police said the man groped the girl as he walked past her in an aisle.
The man was followed by the girl’s parents and store employees as he left the store, but they couldn't stop him as he left in his car.
The man is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a chubby build, black hair, glasses and a black leather trench coat.
The man’s vehicle is described as a dark-colored passenger car with a sunroof.
Anyone with information about the incident or can identify the man is asked to contact Detective Matthew Leitgeb at 253-835-6783.
