FEDERAL WAY, Wash. —

Federal Way police are looking for three or four men in connection with a series of thefts and forgeries that occurred in late November.

 

According to police, the men are targeting elderly women and stealing their wallets while they shop.

 

The men then go to another store and purchase Visa gift cards, along with a greeting card and tells the cashier they are purchasing the cards for a family member.

 

According to police, the men have been targeting Fred Meyer, Walmart and Walgreens in Federal Way, Kent, Mercer Island, Bellevue, Seattle and Unincorporated King County.

 

The thefts and forgeries happened between Nov. 26-30.

 

Police describe the three or four men as black, dressed in slacks, button-up shirts, a wool coat and one often wearing a hat.

 

Federal Way police urges anyone to call 911 immediately if they see the men in a retail store.
