Police looking for anyone who's seen Sky Metalwala since October 1

SEATTLE —

Solomon Metalwala appeared on KIRO FM radio with his lawyer Monday, his latest in a series of press interviews in the search for his missing son, Sky, and mentioned a new date that's important in the boy's disappearance.

"The police would like us to ask for anyone who's seen (Sky) from October 1," Clay Terry, Solomon's lawyer, said during Monday's Ron and Don Show.

The boy disappeared on November 6, according to police.

Solomon Metalwala and Terry also said they hope to be able to set up a reward fund with an accountant very soon, with the sole purpose of finding Sky.

ABC News: Biryukova responds?

ABC News reported earlier in the day that Sky's mother, Julia Biryukova, or someone using her email address commented on the boy's disappearance for the first time. Reporter Neil Karlinsky said that in an email exchange, Biryukova suggested her husband had something to do with Sky going missing.

Biryukova was quoted as saying, "my husband is a sadistic Muslim Pakistani."

Solomon Metalwala said he is from Pakistan, but that he's a Christian who attends a local church and certainly isn't a sadist.

"I'm saddened that she's still going off on this anger that she has," Solomon Metalwala said.

"That kind of comment is just reprehensible," Terry said. "We're all out here trying to find the baby."

When Karlinsky asked Biryukova if she knew where Sky was, the emailed response was "no."
