BELLINGHAM, Wash. —
Police need the publics help to find who shot and killed a 43-year-old man in the middle of a busy Bellingham intersection.
A memorial is at the scene of Garden and Ivy streets in Bellingham where the body of Bryan Marriott was found lying Friday night. Police said he may have been the victim of road rage.
Bellingham detectives said they believe Marriott was driving up Ivy Street when he may have gotten into an argument with another driver.

Marriott was shot by someone seen speeding away in a dark sedan, police said. His car was found parked at the scene, his engine was running, the emergency brake was on and the drivers door was open.
Bellingham officer Mark Young said Marriott was a commercial fisherman, just back from Alaska, and he didn't appear to have any known enemies.
Bryan appeared to be living a clean life, employed, just going about his business, just coming back, or maybe heading home -- maybe he was on his way home during this incident," Young said.

Police believe people passing by may have seen an argument near the intersection.
Young said investigators are working around the clock on this case and are asking for the publics help.
We're asking for information. If anybody has anything, no matter how minute they think it might be and they need to be in touch with us and pass that information along to us," Young said.
Despite the fact that Western Washington University students bike, drive and walk through the intersection, Young said few people have stepped forward to talk to police.
Anyone with information should call Bellingham police or 911.
