SEATTLE —

Investigators believe the shooting that killed a 43-year-old man in Maple Leaf may have been related to a road rage traffic incident, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident happened Friday evening in the 7500 block of 15th Avenue Northeast.

When police arrived to the location they found a man with gunshot wounds inside of a maroon Subaru.

The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he later died. He was identified as Yancy Noll.

During an investigation, police said Noll was sitting in his car when the suspect pulled up next to him and then opened fire on Noll multiple times. The shooter fled the scene and remains at large.

Police described the suspect as a well-dressed white or Asian man in his late 20s to 30s with dark, slicked-back hair. His vehicle is described as smaller silver BMW Z4, and may have recent body damage including a broken-out passenger side window.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call 911 or the Seattle Police Homicide tip line at 206-233-5000.
