TUKWILA, Wash. —

A man carjacked a woman's car, crashed it and then stole a pickup truck to flee the scene in Tukwila on Thursday, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.

Highway 99 was shut down while police investigated and crews cleared crashed vehicles near state Route 599, where the crash happened a little before noon.

The two men first forced a woman out of her car at a gas station. They were driving the stolen car on Highway 99 when they crashed into another car. The driver was trapped in the wreckage and had to be cut out before she could be treated.

At the crash scene, the man then forced another man out of his vehicle and drove away.

The carjacker is on the loose and police are looking for a blue 1993 Toyota long-bed pickup, license number A72414H.

It was last seen northbound on Interstate 5.
