SEATTLE —
Police are asking for the publics help in finding a bank robber dubbed "Mrs. Doubtfire" because her clothes resemble those worn by the character in the Robin Williams movie.
Police said the robber uses a note and makes threats about a weapon and violence.
The robber is described as a white woman in her 40s, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 110 pounds with a thin build. Authorities said the woman looks gaunt and sickly.
The robber is wanted in connection with the following bank robberies:
4/5/2010 - Key Bank , 4701 California Ave SW in Seattle 4/28/2010 Sterling Savings, 224 SW 15nd St in Burien 5/29/2010 Bank of America, 10623 NE 68th St in Kirkland . 6/1/2010 Viking Bank, 4022 SW Alaska St in Seattle 8/7/2010 Alaska USA, 7300 Roosevelt Way NE in Seattle 8/31/2010 Alaska USA, 2500 SW Barton in Seattle
Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and charge filed for this case.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. A text message of FYI plus the message may be sent to 274637 (CRIMES) as well. All callers will remain anonymous.
