SEATTLE —

Police are looking for a man accused of stabbing his girlfriend with a box cutter.

Officers said Daniel Ward, 51, attacked his girlfriend on Oct. 17 after a brief argument. Police said Ward stabbed the 42-year-old woman several times with a box cutter and caused severe injuries to her neck, arm and face.

Ward threatened to kill the woman and then kill himself, police said.

The woman fled and called police.

The King County Prosecutor’s Office charged Ward with domestic violence assault.

Anyone with information regarding Ward’s whereabouts is asked to contact 911.
