SEATTLE —

A man who was holed up in his Lake City home for the third time in two weeks gave himself up on Monday to a police SWAT team, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.

Police received a call before noon from neighbors who believed their home had been hit by a shot fired from the house, which is in the 1700 block of Northeast 85th Street.

It was apparently the same man who fired shots in the neighborhood two weeks ago, which prompted an hour-long standoff with police at the same house, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported. Officers also responded to the same house Saturday night because of a report of a shot fired.

Police cordoned off an area of a block in all directions from the home while negotiators spoke with the man.

A police spokesman said a motorcycle officer responding to Monday's stand-off collided with a car on Interstate 5 and apparently suffered a broken leg.
