BREMERTON, Wash. —
Woman Encounters Apparent Thief In Home
Police believe the suspect has a compulsive sex fetish and might be dangerous if he's caught in the act.
Police suggest that women who worried about the undergarment burglar learn how to protect themselves from the thief who's emptying drawers and laundry rooms of bras, panties, and lingerie.
He usually sneaks into apartments through unlocked doors and windows.
The one time he was caught in the act, he got away before police arrived.
Police said the suspect could go from stealing to stalking and sexual assault and they believe a lot of women haven't reported the crime.
