Police Warned After Burglars Steal Arsenal

SEATTLE —

Burglars driving a white van broke into a home in the Shorewood area, south of Seattle, Friday and stole a small arsenal.

Warning Goes Out To Police

The King County Sheriff's Office warned nearby police agencies to be careful if they approach a white Chevy van.

The burglars took two shotguns, two .22 rifles, an antique gun and an SKS assault rifle after breaking into a locked gun cabinet.

The burglary, at a home near SW 112th and 26th SW, was apparently random, police told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Deputies said the burglars entered through a small bathroom window. The homeowner had recently been to a gun shop, they said.

The suspect's vehicle is white Chevy Astrovan with a license plate of 536 MGM.
