SPOKANE, Wash. —

Spokane city workers want whoever is stacking up picnic tables in parks to knock it off.

The parks department says whether it's a prank, vandalism or artistic expression it's dangerous.

KREM reports  35 tables were found stacked eight-high in a pyramid Friday at Manito Park.

This is the fourth picnic table pyramid in Spokane in recent weeks.

The city had to bring in lift equipment last week to disassemble a pyramid in Riverfront Park made up of 45 tables.

Spokane parks labor foreman David Randolph says maintenance workers earlier stopped some teens caught stacking tables. He says someone could be seriously injured or killed in a fall or by having a table fall on them from 30 feet in the air.
