Public's Help Needed In Tacoma Shooting Mystery

TACOMA, Wash. —

Tacoma police detectives are asking for the public's help in finding whoever tried to kill a woman found lying in a Tacoma street on Dec. 21.

Jacqueline Niemi, 27, of Tacoma, was found in the 200 block of South 79th Street, unresponsive and suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Niemi is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, and has long, dark blond hair and blue eyes.

Crimestoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County released her photo and description in the hope that someone will recognize her and know who she was with on the night of the shooting.
