A few hundred people have gathered in downtown Seattle to rally in support of the Egyptian people and their ongoing political protests.
Many at the Westlake Mall on Saturday afternoon say they are of Egyptian descent. They carry hand-lettered signs, saying "We'll shout until he's out" and "Down, Down Mubarak." Men, women and children are shouting "Free Egypt now" and "We want justice."
Anti-government protesters in Egypt are demanding economic and political change. Tens of thousands of people filling the streets of Cairo and other cities are calling for President Hosni Mubarak to resign after nearly 30 years in power.
