The skull of Annalecia Fernan was found by a hunter in woods near Ravensdale two years after the 17-year-old disappeared from her Tukwila home.

Fernan, a Foster High School basketball player, moved in with a cousin around Christmas in 2003 and vanished soon after.

Police thought she was a runaway.

"This is a bitter-sweet. Sweet because I know where she is now ... bitter, very bitter somebody took my baby and they'll pay one day," said Tracy Fernan, her father.

Anyone who knows anything about Annalisa Fernan's disappearance is urged to call police.
