Roof Cut Off Truck After South Seattle Crash



SEATTLE —

One person was trapped when a car and a truck crashed late Thursday morning in south Seattle.

The crash occurred in the 8800 block of Renton Avenue South.

Sue Stangl with the Seattle Fire Department said one person was trapped inside the truck after the wreck caused it to turn onto its side.

Firefighters had to cut the roof off the truck to free the occupant.

Stangl said she believed that no one suffered serious injuries.
