Sea-Tac Passengers Stranded By Denver Storm

SEATAC, Wash. —

Hundreds of passengers are stranded at Sea-Tac Airport Thursday because of canceled flights to Denver due to a snowstorm.

Blowing snow and blinding winds are making for zero visibility conditions in Denver.

About 34 flights a day come through Sea-Tac to or from Denver each day.

Would-be passengers on those flights are starting to stack up, and because flights are so overbooked for the holidays, there’s no place to rebook them.

Airport officials said passengers could be trapped at the airport until after Christmas.
