Seattle city leaders will consider an official boycott of Arizona.
On Monday, the Seattle City Council will hear public comment and then vote on a boycott of Arizona in protest of that state's new immigration law.

The immigration law allows Arizona police to ask suspects for proof of their immigration status.
Seattle Councilwoman Sally Clark wants the potential boycott to prevent Seattle city employees from going to Arizona and discourage the city from contracting with Arizona-based companies.
Clark believes this is a symbolic and important message.
Tacoma City Council will consider a boycott of Arizona on Tuesday.
National polls show that more Americans support the Arizona immigration reform than not.
Many city councils have already passed a boycotts against Arizona including Los Angeles, San Francisco, DC, Boston, Dallas, Austin, El Paso, St. Paul, Boulder, San Diego, Sacramento, Oakland.
