SEQUIM, Washington —
City leaders in Sequim hope classical music will drive away loitering teenagers.
The city and Clallam Transit will pipe the music through speakers installed at the Cedar Street bus station.
The Peninsula Daily News reports if the experiment works, it will be tried at another transit center in Port Angeles.
Some teens the PDN spoke with said they liked the idea.
The city said the music was not intended to be disruptive, but to get teens who are not there to ride the bus to move on.
