Sheriff's Deputy Involved In Collision Near Snohomish

SNOHOMISH, Wash. —

A King County sheriff's patrol car collided with another car at an intersection on Highway 9 near Snohomish on Friday morning.

State Patrol Trooper Kirk Rudeen said a southbound car crossed the centerline and collided head-on with the northbound patrol car at 6:20 a.m.

Both drivers were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

King County sheriff's spokesman John Urquhart said the deputy was on his way home at the time of the crash.
