Shoppers waited hours in line to grab the best deals on Black Friday.

Many retails started opening their doors Thursday evening and into Friday morning.

At midnight, Kohl’s opened its doors and a manager told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News between 800 and 900 people walked through the doors in the first 15 minutes.

Many customers said they waited in line at Kohl’s for a few hours, and the line wrapped around the building

KIRO 7 reporter Alexandra Limon spoke with a shopper, Oscar Soch, who was the first customer to check out.

“The price is like $200, but now I found for $160. It’s OK.” said Soch.

Soch said that it was worth the wait for the deal.

“We do have a certain budge. We’re not going to go past our credit cards. Right? Because it is what it is. If we see something out there that’s a deal that’s worth it, then we’ll get it,” said shopper Jonathan Garcia.

Some people started waiting in line Thanksgiving morning to shop as a few retailers opened later in the evening.

Kmart, Sears, Toys R’ Us and Walmart opened their doors at 8 p.m. Thursday; Target opened at 9 p.m. Best Buy and Macy’s also opened at midnight.

Retailers that opened early Friday morning were Bed, Bath and Beyond, Fred Meyer, Home Depot, JC Penney and Lowe’s.
