SEATTLE —

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they said sexually assaulted a 20-year-old Seattle woman early this month.

The man entered the victim's apartment in the 1700 block of 12th Avenue through an unlocked window at about 3 a.m. on July 5, police said.

The man is white, in his late teens or early 20s, 6 feet tall, with a chubby build and very short hair. He was last seen wearing a dark short-sleeve T-shirt, dark cargo shorts and dark running shoes, police said.

Sexual Assault Detectives asked anyone who recognizes the man to call them at 206-684-5575.
