Statement from U.S. Bank

U.S. Bank issued this statement to KIRO 7 Eyewitness News, regarding this story by KIRO 7 Eyewitness News Consumer Investigator Amy Clancy:

Thank you for the opportunity to respond. I've not seen this report until today so please know that we will give it a close review. U.S. Bank is firmly committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience through all of our channels including branch, ATM, Internet and mobile. We value all feedback so we can make sure customers continue to receive high quality service and fair pricing.

Something you may not know -- Money Magazine in its September issue recently identified U.S. Bank Easy Checking as the Best National Bank Checking account. We are also committed to helping American start saving again through our S.T.A.R.T. (Savings Today and Rewards Tomorrow) program, which rewards customers with $50 for saving $1,000 and another $50 when they keep it for a year. As a result - our customers have saved $2.5 billion since 2010.

I hope this helps offer some perspective on the quality service we provide to Puget Sound customers. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
