SPANAWAY, Wash. —

In November, $90,000 worth of ATVs and motorcycles were stolen from a Pierce County man.

After months of searching, Shane Hadfield recovered his customized ATVs and motorcycles early Saturday morning with a tip from a friend, which helped police track down the vehicles. Hadfield found his vehicles on a private lot in Graham.

Hadfield told KIRO 7 that a friend saw someone in Graham riding a red ATV that looked like one that belonged to Hadfield. After the tip, Hadfield went to the location, saw what his friend told him and called 911.

“I told them my stuff might be down the road. They went and checked it out more, cops showed up and more cops showed up,” said Hadfild. “And we figured okay, let’s go down and see, and there it all was.”

KIRO 7 spoke with Hadfield in November after his vehicles were stolen out of his front yard, and he offered a $15,000 reward to get them back. He also showed us the trailer that was broken into that had some of his vehicles.

Pierce County deputies found more stolen items at the scene, and deputies have not arrested the lot owner.
