TACOMA, Wash. —

Officials with the University of Puget Sound sent out a warning to students Monday after a woman was attacked on the campus over the weekend.

Brazen Attack On Campus

The 20-year-old student left the campus library and unlocked her car when she says a man grabbed her from behind.

She fought back, kicking him in the groin and he ran away.

The man is described as a white male in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark ball cap, dark jacket, stone washed baggy jeans and white tennis shoes.

"It's a little scary to know that there's someone like that around campus," said Ruth Shauble, a UPS junior.

Students received an e-mail about the attack, the third e-mail students say they've received about a stranger invading their campus.

Officials at UPS are recommending that students walk in pairs and that they be on the look out for anyone suspicious.
