MONROE, Wash. —

Detectives are hoping newly released surveillance video will lead them to the driver who hit and killed a bicyclist Wednesday night on Highway 2 in Monroe.

Monroe police said 53-year-old Debbie Pesce was riding her bike and tried to cross the highway at Old Owen Road. She was hit by an eastbound driver.

According to police, the driver revved around two vehicles, before hitting Pesce and continued driving.

A surveillance video was released Friday evening and police are hoping someone will recognize the vehicle.

Police believe the vehicle is a white late 80s to early 90s Ford F-series pickup with a dark blue or green stripe.

Anyone with information about the vehicle or the driver is urged to call the Monroe Police Department.
