FEDERAL WAY, Wash. —

The suspect accused of murder in connection with a gunfight that killed one person and injured six outside a Federal Way bar will appear before a judge on Thursday.

Kenneth Maurice Sutton, 21, was injured in the shooting.  He was arrested after being released from a hospital.

Police said Sutton and the victim who died, 23-year-old Cloise Young, were shooting at each other after the bar closed at 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, signs on the windows at Johnny's Famous Grill and Bar said the restaurant will open on Thursday, said KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Alexandra Limon.

Some people who live near the bar said there have seen fights and patrons who are too drunk.

"I'm really not shocked to tell you the truth because it's getting to that point, and when you have loud music coming in and you have rift raft people that's what it's all about," said Elisa Barlet.

The Liquor Control Board is meeting with Federal Way police to talk about the bar.
