Tacoma Officers Ram Car To Stop Possible Suspect

TACOMA, Wash. —

Tacoma police are investigating a traffic collision involving an officer and possible wanted suspect on 37th Avenue in Tacoma.

Police were making a stop of the alleged wanted suspect at gunpoint when the man hit the gas and tried to flee. An unmarked police car rammed the man’s vehicle head on while a marked unit rammed the car from the rear, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.

Police had to break a window out of the car to drag the man out before taking him to the hospital.
