The King County Medical Examiner said they are the remains of a woman between 13 and 24 years of age. Her race and stature are not known. The M.E.'s office estimates the woman has been deceased at least ten years, but possibly longer, as much as 30 years.

REMAINS FOUND Police ask anyone who knows a female who went missing sometime in the early 1970s to the early 1990s to contact the task force at (206) 296-7575.

The DNA did not match the database of missing women believed to be victims of the Green River serial killer.

South King County detectives are asking if any knows of a young woman who went missing from the 70's to the 90's.

Three other sets of remains found by searchers since June were identified as missing women who were listed as victims of the serial killer.

The unidentified bones were found in a search in August in a wooded area off the Kent-Des Moines Road, a quarter mile northwest of Reith Rd.
