EVERETT, Wash. —

A Bellevue teenager who family members and police feared was kidnapped is safe at home following a two-day disappearance.

She told her story Thursday only to KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Teen Missing For Days Speaks Out

Sleepy and worn-out, 15-year-old Nayheli Barrera spoke about her sudden disappearance that nearly led Bellevue police to issue an Amber alert.

"I'm fine. I am ok," she told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News Reporter Kyle Moore.

Barrera disappeared Monday night from a library in the Crossroads area of Bellevue. She was with her sister when they were approached by a friend of Nayheli's boyfriend.

Barrera told her sister she was going to call police, and that was the last time she was seen.

Barrera said her boyfriend, 19-year-old Ricardo Guzman-Gil, picked her up and drove her to Everett.

"It was my own free will. I left because I wanted to," she said.

Everett police spotted Barrera walking down the street Wednesday night and brought her home.

Guzman-Gil was arrested two hours later and booked into jail.

Barrera said she didn't realize so many people were looking for her.

"I have no clue until I got home last night. The detective told me I was on the news," she said.

As for her boyfriend, she said he hit her before she disappeared, leaving the mark under her left eye.
