Teen Charged With First-Degree Murder In Coach's Death

SEATTLE —

A 17-year-old boy who is accused of fatally shooting a high school tennis coach in the face in Seattle was charged with first-degree murder Thursday by the King County Prosecutor's Office.

Samson Y. Berhe was ordered held on $1 million bail. He will be arraigned next Thursday at the King County Courthouse in Seattle.

Berhe was arrested Monday following the shotgun death of Michael Robb, the tennis coach at Newport High School in Bellevue. Robb was gunned down as he sat in his car at West Marginal Way in Seattle.

Witnesses say a male fired a shotgun through the open driver's side window, then ran away.
