Teenage Boy Hurt In Accidental Shooting In Lacey

 

LACEY, Wash. —

A teenage boy has been hurt in an accidental shooting in Lacey, police said.

Jim Mack with Lacey police said it appears the boy was shot in the hip and the bullet exited through his buttocks.

He was transported to St. Peter’s Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, medics said.

Mack said the boy was showing his friend his father’s gun at his home in the 2600 block of Greenlawn when the gun went off.
