TACOMA, Wash. —

Tacoma police are investigating a triple shooting in Tacoma.

Police spokesman Mark Fulghum told KIRO 7 that someone called 911 Saturday night to report that at least two people had been shot at a house in the 700 block of South Huson Street.

Fulghum said that the shootings happened around 10:30 p.m. after two men arrived at the house and exchanged words with another man inside the house.

Fulghum said that the third man pulled out a gun and shot the men who had just arrived.

Both men ran out of the house and police responded at the scene.

Fulghum said the shooter refused to come out of the house and a SWAT team was called in.

Eventually police were able to contact the man, who had also been shot.

All three shooting victims were transported to the hospital.

Fulghum said that one of the men had life-threatening wounds.

Police have not said what the motive for the shootings may have been, KIRO 7 reported.
