Father, Daughter Killed In Motorcycle Crash



ISSAQUAH, Wash. —

An Eastside father and daughter were killed in a crash during a motorcycle ride on Highway 18 on Saturday night, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.

Kelly Johnson and his daughter Candi went out for a ride together Saturday night but never made it home.

A car crossed the median and hit them just west of Hobart-Issaquah Road.

Family members said they're devastated.

"(I'm) pretty numb at the moment, just spent a couple nice weekends with him. Things like this never get any easier," said Roy Johnson, Kelly's cousin.

Family members have built a memorial of flowers and balloons at the accident scene.

The two people in the car that hit the motorcycle were taken to a hospital.

They are expected to recover.
