If you've ever wondered how KIRO 7's on-air personalities ended up on the air in the first place, Traffic Reporter Jenni Hogan has a blog post up today that sheds some light on her journey, and how it started with a focus on economics and finance:

I started studying Finance at Adelaide University, then when I moved to take up my rowing scholarship at the University of Washington, I transitioned to major in Economics. In Economics we studied supply and demand, not just on money and finances but also on people and how they make decisions. The way people make their driving decisions was a heavy focus and it was all about risk versus reward.
