Semi Rollover, Load Spill Closes I-90 In Issaquah

ISSAQUAH, Wash. —

Eastbound Interstate 90 has reopened after a rolled over semi blocked the Sunset Way offramp from eastbound I-90 in Issaquah.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Martin said a beam from the truck’s lost load was hanging over the freeway. Video from Chopper 7 showed a load of steel beams spilled on the ramp.

Chopper video showed one of the beams jammed into the base of a pole holding what appears to be a traffic camera. The beam is on the offramp and was precariously hanging over the freeway below.

The DOT said it appeared there was no structural damage.

The beam was safely removed and the freeway opened at 6:08 p.m. Traffic was backed up for miles.
