SEATTLE —
A semitruck with rolls of steel bands was left in a strange position after a Monday morning incident in South Seattle.
A KIRO 7 Eyewitness News photographer found the accident on Martin Luther King Way and South 129th Street where the semi’s trailer buckled.
The truck, which was carrying 10-ton rolls of steel bands, was pulling out of a parking lot when a dip in the lot caused the trailer to buckle and the steel chains holding the load to snap.
The bands rolled off the truck and into the street, but no one was hurt.
The flatbed trailer was left twisted with one set of wheels off the ground but remained upright.
